Menire Institute
Menire Institute is a non-governmental and nonprofit organization created with the objective of going on with works which had been carrying out by Menire Project.
Our mission is to contribute to sustainable economic alternatives for traditional populations, valuing Indian culture as well as preserving the Amazon Forest.
Our Goal
We hope this story never ends. We would like the Kayapó children may have the Forest where they live preserved to continue living within their tradition, learning (with their mothers) the art of corporal painting and creation of beautiful ornaments in glass beads. At the same time, we want them to learn (with their parents) to get to know their culture, respect and value this culture and their world.
